THC | 1:1 | CBD

Cannabis contains over 100 chemical substances, known as cannabinoids, which are produced and stored in the plant’s trichomes (the small, clear, hair-like outgrowths that protrude from the flowers and leaves of the plant).

THC

The most researched cannabinoid is delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), responsible for the euphoric high and intoxication of cannabis. THC dominant products contain a much greater percentage of THC than cannabidiol (CBD), the other main cannabinoid.

1:1

1:1 THC/CBD products contain an approximately equal ratio of THC to CBD. There is evidence that CBD may block or lower some of the intoxicating effects of THC on the brain. This may occur when the amount of CBD in the cannabis is the same or greater than the amount of THC.

CBD

Cannabidiol (CBD) is another cannabinoid. Unlike THC, CBD does not produce a high or intoxication. CBD is also being studied for its therapeutic uses. CBD dominant products contain a much greater percentage of CBD than THC.
